Online - The Vehicle Registration Data (VRD) Subgroup of the PCC SEE Thematic Working Group on the Practical and Technical Implementation of the PCC Prüm Agreement held an online meeting under the auspices of the PCC SEE Chairmanship-in-Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, bringing together VRD and IT experts from PCC SEE Contracting Parties engaged in, or preparing for, automated vehicle registration data exchange.

The meeting served as a follow-up to the first VRD Subgroup meeting held in March 2025 and focused on updates and recent developments related to the operationalisation of automated VRD data exchange. Participants from non-EU PCC SEE Contracting Parties presented progress in establishing EUCARIS access points, identifying responsible national authorities, and initiating national procedures for automated VRD data exchange.

EU PCC SEE Contracting Parties shared experiences from international automated VRD exchange, contributing to the exchange of practical knowledge within the group. The meeting concluded with an open discussion on implementation challenges, capacity-building needs, and possible technical support required for advancing PCC Prüm operational readiness.
