Meeting on Cross-border Cooperation as an answer to Security Threats for Southeast Europe

Romanian chairmanship in Office and the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Slovenia co-organised the Meeting on Cross-border Cooperation as an answer to Security Threats for Southeast Europe held in Moravske Toplice, from 6-7 March 2012. The aim of the meeting was to strengthen the police cooperation of the countries in the region, and to form more efficient and successful framework for combating organised and cross-border crime. At the meeting participated Police Director Generals, Heads of Border Police and Combating Organised Crime Directorates as well the representatives of the Police services and Ministries of Interior from Albania, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia and Slovenia.
