1st Train-the-Trainers training course on delivery of the PCC SEE Webinar

Budapest, Hungary - The 1st Train-the-Trainers training course on delivery of the PCC SEE Webinar took place between 25 and 29 April 2016 in Budapest, Hungary, under the Moldovan PCC SEE Chairmanship-in-Office and with support of the PCC SEE Secretariat.

The course brought together teachers and trainers from Police academies with the aim to equip them with the comparable understanding of the PCC SEE and to engage them in the development of a national presentation on the PCC SEE, which they will deliver to target audiences (students and law enforcement officers) after returning home. The idea to organise such training was developed after the 5th meeting of the TWG on Police Education and Training within the PCC SEE, where the participants stated that the level of familiarisation with the PCC SEE is low and that language still presents quite an obstacle in the spread of knowledge on (about) the PCC SEE.

During the week the participants were presented the PCC SEE in detail and were introduced to the webinar software which can be used for the webinar delivery. They also learned about the specifics of learning in the electronic environment. Following the presentations and practical exercises the participants created presentations on the PCC SEE in their language and practically executed several webinars to become confident with this teaching approach. Furthermore they addressed when they will be able to deliver the webinar and how they can reach as wide as audience as possible.
