Tour des Capitals - Bulgaria
On 26 August 2009 Mr. Anton Travner, Acting Head of the PCC SEE Secretariat and Mr. Stanislav Veniger, Senior Adviser, met with Mr. Veselin Vuchkov, Deputy Minister of Interior, and representatives of the top management of the Ministry, within the Tour des Capitals project. The objective of the meeting was to present the Secretariat and its work, specifically the Action plan and means of possible cooperation between Bulgaria and the Secretariat as well as with other Contracting Parties to the PCC SEE.
On 26 August 2009 Mr. Anton Travner, Acting Head of the PCC SEE Secretariat and Mr. Stanislav Veniger, Senior Adviser, met with Mr. Veselin Vuchkov, Deputy Minister of Interior, Mr. Ilia Pulov, Representative of the Commissioner General of the Ministry of Interior, Mr. Angel Antonov, Director of Chief Directorate of Criminal Police, Mr. Zaharin Penov, Director of Chief Directorate of Border Police, Mr. Todor Fandakov, Acting Head of the Department for Guarding the State Border, Chief Directorate of Border Police, Mr. Dimitar Georgiev, Director of International Operational Police Cooperation Directorate, Mr. Valentin Kostov, Head of SIRENE Unit, International Operational Police Cooperation Directorate, Ms Snezhana Maleeva, Acting Director of EU and International Cooperation Directorate, Ms Milena Dzhumayska, Expert at EU and International Cooperation Directorate, National Contact Point for PCC SEE, and Ms Elena Vasileva, Expert at EU and International Cooperation Directorate, Interpreter Bulgarian-English, within the Tour des Capitals project. The topics of the meeting were prioriteies of the Secretariat, Rules of Procedure, Communication Strategy, Education and Training, Memorandum of Understanding, and the forthcoming Work Shop on the Cross Border Search Operation that will be held in November 2009 in Sofia, Bulgaria. The main discusion was about the rotation of the presidency and the PCC SEE chairmanship of the first half in 2010 which will be taken over by Bulgaria.
