Hybrid/Ljubljana - The third meeting of the DNA subgroup, held on 18 April 2024 under the auspices of the Slovenian PCC SEE Chairmanship-in-Office, brought together key DNA and IT experts from forensic departments/units from 12 PCC SEE Contracting Parties. The meeting addressed new developments, potential challenges, and pertinent inquiries, ensuring continuity from the previous two meetings held in 2023. Furthermore, participants from the non-EU Contracting Parties learned in more detail about the management of hits within automated DNA data exchange, gaining insights from the operational perspectives of  EU Contracting Parties.

The meeting continued to serve as a platform for sharing experiences, best practices, and lessons learned, nurturing the further development of a dynamic network among key forensic and IT experts within the PCC SEE community.
