Expert Mission of the Implementation of Articles 14 and 15 of the PCC SEE, Sarajevo


The Expert Mission of the Implementation of Articles 14 and 15 of the PCC SEE took place from 17 to 19 February 2010 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Expert Mission was convened within the framework of the Police Cooperation Convention for Southeast Europe, and executed by Contracting Parties and Federal Ministry of the Interior of Austria with the support of PCC SEE Secretariat, bringing together the national experts of Bosnia and Herzegovina for special investigation techniques and surveillance in order to assist Bosnia and Herzegovina in the implementation of bilateral agreements on Cross-border Surveillance (Article 14 of the PCC SEE).
A review of specific practical and operational aspects of police cooperation in the field of Cross-border Surveillance and Controlled Delivery were done in order to detect possible difficulties and to examine the way to solve them in compliance with the EU standards. Presentations by experts from an EU Member State highlighted the issues of best practices.
