The conference marked an important step forward in fostering regional cooperation as an integrated, coherent, sustainable and transparent process. The event aimed to identify and centralize regional priorities, needs and objectives to be addressed in the coming years in the justice and home affairs area, and to recommend, based on an action plan, implementable solutions.

All the delegations presented their main mandates and their vision on regional cooperation and more than needed coordination which was the main message of the conference. The PCC SEE as a model for such kind of cooperation was presented and confirmed by the participants due to the extensive consortium for the implementation of the convention.
