A review of specific practical and operational aspects of  police cooperation in the field of Cross-border Surveillance and Controlled Delivery was done in order to detect possible difficulties and to examine the way to solve them in compliance with the EU standards. Presentation by an expert from Austria highlighted the issues of good practices.

During the meeting the participants discussed the provisions of the Serbian Law on Police to Police Operations and Training Methods and bi- and multilateral implementation agreements as well as made an assessment of good practices of Austria and other EU countries in the selected fields of the Surveillance Unit (Structure, Education and Training Methods).

The necessary implementation of bilateral and multilateral agreements on Cross-border Surveillance will promote the internal security of Serbia and for the region and could lead the way to further cooperation among the neighbouring countries of Serbia.
