Meeting of police experts within Surveillance units under the PCC SEE
Meeting of police experts within Surveillance units under the PCC SEE took place in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina, from 4 to 6 August 2010.
The objective of the meeting was to introduce the Convention to the police experts from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro and Macedonia, to plan the joint practical cooperation and to introduce the Cross-border Surveillance Exercise that will begin in October 2010. The police experts presented the legal basis of the countries concerned and identified the problems encountered with cooperation in the cross-border surveillance.
For the first time also Croatian representatives joined the meeting on Cross-border surveillance and expressed high interest in the legal framework and recognised PCC SEE as an important tool for strengthening the police cooperation in the Southeast Europe.
