Ad hoc Meeting on legal aspects of DNA Information Exchange


Ljubljana, Slovenia - The Ad hoc Meeting on legal aspects of DNA Information Exchange implementation activities within the PCC SEE, held in Ljubljana, Slovenia, from 23-24 June 2014, organised under the auspices of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Chairmanship-in-Office and with support from the PCC SEE Secretariat, gathered legal and DNA information exchange police experts. The aim of the Ad hoc meeting was to further develop the area of cross-border automated DNA information exchange by exploring the legal aspects of the EU Prüm instrument as a model. Among others, participants were actively engaged in the initial process of exploring legal challenges for (multilateral) implementation agreement on DNA Information Exchange within the PCC SEE.
